How does photo restoration differ from photo enhancement?

Enhancement does not heal damage: it enlarges the picture 2 or 4 times and reduces noise, so it suits a clean but small or soft photo, for example before printing. If a picture has both scratches and low resolution, start with restoration and enlarge the result separately if you still need to. AI can reconstruct missing features differently; compare the face and small details with the original. Results depend on source quality. Restoration costs 50 credits per photo. An account is required to start processing. First sign-up provides 100 starter credits to try the service, subject to safeguards against repeat registrations. These credits are shared across services; your selected mode and its cost are shown in the form.

What happens when my starter credits run out?

When your balance is lower than the cost of your selected settings, you need to purchase a credit pack. Every new processing run uses credits. Viewing or downloading an existing result is not another processing run.

How do I get a restored photo without a watermark?

Purchase a credit pack before starting a new restoration to get a result without a watermark. A previously downloaded trial photo keeps its watermark; purchasing credits does not change that file.

What happens to your photo

Uploaded source files are automatically deleted from storage about 7 days after upload.
Your result
Download your own copy right after processing. How long a result is kept depends on the file type.
Deletion on request
Hiding a history entry does not delete the file immediately. To have a photo deleted earlier, contact support at support@fotolab.ai.
Who has access
Access to data is restricted. Photos are shared only to operate the service (processing, hosting, payments), and faces in photos are not used to identify anyone.
