This Privacy Policy defines the procedure for processing personal data of users of the FotoLab.ai service, owned by IP Zakharov Maxim Sergeevich.

Uploaded images may contain depictions of faces; they are processed solely to provide the service (processing, restoration, animation) and are not used to identify a person, and therefore do not constitute biometric personal data within the meaning of Article 11 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ:

• Email address
• Phone number
• First and last name (optional)
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system
• Images uploaded for processing
• Payment information (processed through YooKassa or Robokassa)

3. Purposes of Data Processing

We use your personal data for:

• Providing image processing services
• Processing payments and record keeping
• Technical support for users
• Improving service quality
• Compliance with legal requirements

4. Legal Basis

Personal data processing is carried out on the basis of:

• Consent of the data subject
• Service agreement
• Legitimate interests of the operator
• Requirements of Russian Federation legislation

5. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except in the cases listed below. Part of this sharing is cross-border (outside the Russian Federation):

• YooKassa or Robokassa to process payments; the selected provider is shown at checkout
• Hosting and cloud infrastructure providers to operate the service
• Artificial intelligence model providers for image processing, restoration and animation — with cross-border transfer to the USA, Germany (EU) and China (PRC) based on the data subject's consent and contract performance
• Content delivery and transactional email providers
• Cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation

We apply modern technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• SSL encryption during data transmission
• Encryption of data at rest
• Restricted access to personal data
• Regular data backup
• Security monitoring
• Storage and primary processing of personal data of Russian Federation citizens on servers located within the territory of the Russian Federation (Article 18, part 5 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ)

7. Your Rights

In accordance with Russian Federation legislation, you have the right to:

• Receive information about the processing of your personal data
• Request correction, blocking, or deletion of data
• Withdraw consent to personal data processing
• Appeal the operator's actions to Roskomnadzor

8. Retention Period

Your personal data is stored no longer than necessary to achieve processing purposes, but no more than 5 years from the last interaction with the service.

Ordinary source uploads are subject to automatic cleanup; results and Studio files can remain longer. Retention periods vary by file type. Download your own copy. Hiding a history entry does not immediately delete the file; contact support to request deletion. The free photo editor works on your device. It does not upload the selected photo for processing. Download the result before closing the page.

9. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies to improve website performance and analyze traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may limit the functionality of the service.

10. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. We will notify users of all changes via email or through notifications on the website.
